The commercial for this episode references when Wanda accidentally destroyed an entire building full of innocent civilians in Captain America: Civil War in Lagos, Nigeria. The end credits, though, show the same font from Growing Pains (y’know, before the whole show gets shaken up in the final moments of the episode). The picnic outside during the opening credits is a nod to those from Full House. It’s not a surprise that WandaVision would reference Full House, since Wanda is played by Elizabeth Olsen (sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen who played Michelle Tanner on the show). Growing Pains also receives a nod as there are photos of the cast members growing up. …before they zoom into each character’s portrait like the 80s sit-com did for the cast members.
